DMA w/ Aley

This past Thursday Aley (a-hearts.blogspot.com) and I went to the DMA for some culture and below are just some of our favorite things. We explored everything from modern art to the classical and even took a tour of the Reeves exhibit where they donated the contents of their house to the DMA. Here shortly they are going to be showcasing a new exhibit that I am super excited to see...the Jean Paul Gaultier.

Middle shelf is a French folding fan from c 1780 with a scene of a visit to the wetnurse
The bottom shelf has an 18th century French lace collar, another Dutch folding fan c 1740's of Rebecca and Eliezer at the well, and a European lace border from the 18th century
